Artur Beterbiev, world light heavyweight champion according to WBC, WBO, IBF, named the boxer whom he considers a role model.

“Mohammed Ali is an example for me. I believe that if you are a boxer or an athlete, you should promote a healthy, correct, sports lifestyle. He shared these values. Thousands of people followed him. My coach from the USA, not being a Muslim, said that he didn’t drink or smoke because Ali didn’t do that. In terms of skills, he is also number one for me,” said the boxer.

Let us remind you that Beterbiev’s team is currently negotiating a possible fight with Dmitry Bivol. It is expected that this fight could take place on June 1st.
