Maccarinelli: Fury won't underestimate Usyk

Former world heavyweight champion, British Enzo Maccarinelli explained why he considers his compatriot Tyson Fury favorite for the upcoming fight with the Ukrainian Alexander Usik.

The meeting of these boxers, with the title of absolute champion in the heavyweight category at stake, will take place on February 17 as part of a big boxing evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“I think Fury will be too big for Usyk. I've always said that Tyson is too big and too good at what he does. People keep talking about his performance in the Ngannou fight. Let's be honest: this was a terrible performance. Tyson looked like he hadn't been training. I doubt he was prepared. If he had lost then, it would have been to his advantage. But perhaps it gave him a boost and focused him on the challenge ahead. He won’t underestimate Usik,” the veteran is quoted as saying by talkSPORT.
