Sterling is confident that a victory over Kattar will open the door to a title fight.

Aljamain Sterling, the former UFC bantamweight champion, is confident that victory over Calvin Kattar will allow him to get a championship shot in the featherweight division.

“I know that if I beat Calvin in my style, then the door to a title fight will open wide. I think it’s real. Look at the guys at the top of the ranking - almost all of them have already fought for the title. If Volkanovski defends his belt again, then our fight will become real. I know Evloev just beat Allen, but Dana White doesn't seem thrilled about the fight. This is a great opportunity,” Sterling said.

Let us remind you that the confrontation between Sterling and Kattar will take place on April 13 in Las Vegas as part of UFC 300.
