One of the greatest fighters in the history of mixed martial arts, former UFC champion in two weight categories Georges St. Pierre responded to rumors that he could perform at the UFC 300 anniversary tournament, which will take place on April 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
“It's a rumor. I was never offered to fight at UFC 300. I made it clear to them that I had no desire to return to the Octagon,” Bloody Elbow quotes St-Pierre as saying.
Let us remember that St. Pierre performed his last performance in November 2017, when he defeated Michael Bisping by choke. In February 2019, the Canadian announced his retirement.
It's worth adding that UFC 300 has not yet received a main event.
