Undefeated contender for the UFC featherweight belt Ilia Topuria responded to impudent remarks from the former interim division champion Yair Rodriguez. Earlier, the Mexican said that the Spanish Georgian received a title fight thanks to his conversations.
“They give me big fights not because I run my mouth, but because I win. This sets me apart from Rodriguez. I don't win because my opponent's shoulder pops up. I don’t win when I get hit five rounds and end up with an accidental elbow. The UFC is not using me as a whipping boy,” Topuria said in an interview with KOlmenero.
Let us remind you that on February 17 at the UFC 298 tournament in Anaheim, Topuria will fight with champion Alexander Volkanovski.
