Dates for Benavidez's next fight announced

Interim WBC super middleweight champion David Benavidez expects to return to the ring at the end of May or early summer. This was stated by the boxer’s father, Jose Benavidez Sr.

“We are thinking about holding the fight in June or July, possibly at the end of May. I have already contacted some boxers, we are still looking for an opponent. And David is ready to box with any opponent,” Benavidez said in an interview with Fight Hub TV.

Let us remember that at the end of November, Benavidez defeated Demetrius Andrade ahead of schedule.
