Harrison signed a contract with the UFC: the name of the first opponent is already known

UFC CEO Dana White announced that two-time Olympic judo champion and former PFL champion Kayla Harrison has signed an exclusive contract with the major promotion, where she will compete in the bantamweight division.

The American will make her debut in the new league at the UFC 300 tournament, which will take place on April 13 in Las Vegas. Her opponent will be a former title holder in the up to 135 lb division, a compatriot Holly Holm.

Harrison, 33, has spent her entire MMA career in the PFL, where she has compiled an impressive 16-1 record. She made her last appearance in the organization in November last year, defeating Aspen Ladd on points. After this, the American became a free agent.
