Emelianenko explained the decision to end his MMA career

“I’m training, I’m in shape. I graduated from MMA. I already feel that my body can’t handle MMA. I can work, but flare-ups occur. And in boxing everything is fine - I can train, prepare, and carry out all the loads,” Emelianenko said.

Let us remember that 47-year-old Emelianenko retired after a knockout loss to Ryan Bader in February last year. Later, the veteran repeatedly stated his desire to have a boxing match with the legendary Mike Tyson.
