Stevenson hinted that he will become a free agent

Shakur Stevenson, the WBC lightweight world champion hinted that he does not plan to sign a new agreement with the promotion company Top Rank.

“Free agent season this year,” the boxer wrote on social networks.

The contract between Shakur and Bob Arum’s company has been in effect since 2016. Now Stevenson has announced that he is refusing to automatically renew the agreement.
