2012 Olympic bronze medalist, 38-year-old Ukrainian welterweight Taras Shelestyuk stated that he would not give up his desire to become a world champion.
“I’m a free agent. Undefeated - 19-0. Olympic medalist. World amateur champion.
No promoter. No manager. No advisors. And the most important thing is that I love boxing, I want to do it and become a world champion,” Shelestyuk wrote in X.
Let us remind you that Shelestyuk held his last performance in March 2022, when he fought to a draw with Venezuelan representative Gabriel Maestre.
