UFC President Dana White said that the return of the promotion's main star Conor McGregor is not a done deal. Previously, the former champion in two weight categories announced that on June 29 he would fight with Michael Chandler in the middle weight limit.
"This is wrong. When Conor is ready to fight, we will announce it. That’s what we’ll do,” White said at a press conference.
Let us remember that 35-year-old McGregor has not appeared in the Octagon since July 2021, when he lost to Dustin Poirier due to a broken leg in the first round.
