Bogachuk: “Gassiev wrote in the first days of a full-scale invasion”

Ukrainian junior middleweight boxer Sergei Bogachuk spoke about his interactions with the heavyweight Murat Gassiev, now flying the Armenian flag. Previously, the fighters trained together in the Big Bear gym with Abel Sanchez.

— Abel Sanchez was your coach before. Why did you decide to change him to Manny Robles?

— By that time, my manager had an incomprehensible situation with Sanchez. Yes, and he closed this hall. Big Bear is currently no longer operating. In general, Sanchez suited me. He is a really great person and coach.

— Sanchez trained Murat Gassiev and Gennady Golovkin. What kind of relationship did you have with them?

— We lived and trained together and communicated normally.
