Fury Sr: 'If Ngannou hits Joshua, it'll be all over'

John Fury, father of the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, shared his expectations from the recently announced fight between the former holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF belts Anthony Joshua and mixed martial arts star Francis Ngannou.

“Ngannou will be a threat to Joshua. When I watched him box Tyson, I got the impression that he looked like someone who had fought 30 professional fights. As for the odds, I'd give it 50/50. However, if Ngannou hits, it'll be all over.

Although in the previous fight Anthony looked amazing. It was a different person. He was focused, he was hungry for victory. This determination was key. Some people get better after failure, and that's what happened to him. Now Joshua is not so far from becoming a three-time champion,” Fury said in an interview with Metro.

Let us remind you that the Joshua-Ngannou fight will take place on March 8 in Riyadh.
