Charr and Pulev will challenge the WBA title in March

In March in Bulgaria there may be a fight for the regular WBA heavyweight belt between Manuel Charr (34-4, 20 KOs) and Kubrat Pulev (30-3, 14 KOs). American journalist Dan Rafael reports this.

Last September, the WBA reached an agreement with Charr, who took the organization to court to restore his status as permanent heavyweight champion. Jarell Miller was scheduled to be Charr's opponent, but later chose to fight Daniel Dubois.

In December, Pulev returned to the ring after more than a year away, defeating Andrzej Wawrzyk on points. Charr last boxed in December 2022.
