Ngannou gave his first comment after the announcement of the fight with Joshua

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou commented on the news that he will soon hold another high-profile boxing match.

The day before it became known that the Cameroonian will meet with the former WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. The 10-round bout will take place on March 9 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“We are taking big steps in the new year. 2024 will be fire,” Ngannou wrote on X.

Let us remember that Ngannou made his debut in the professional ring in October last year. “The Predator” lost to WBC belt holder Tyson Fury by split decision, scoring a knockdown during the fight.
