Former UFC welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns told how he once injured the promotion’s ex-champion in the heavyweight division Francis Ngannou during sparring.
“We trained together about five years ago. We practiced wrestling - I caught Francis in a painful hold, but I didn’t want to give up and got an arm injury.
I was so scared. I thought, “This guy is going to kill me!” But he reacted calmly to the situation. So I have experience training with Ngannou. But I wouldn’t fight him,” the Brazilian said in an interview with JAXXON PODCAST.
