McGregor announced his long-awaited return to the Octagon

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor announced that his next fight will take place on June 29th against Michael Chandler. According to the star Irishman, the fight will take place in the middleweight limit.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I wish you all a Happy New Year! I would like to announce the date of my return, 'The Notorious' Conor McGregor, the greatest comeback of all time, which will take place in Las Vegas during International Fight Week, June 29th... and my opponent, Michael Chandler. And the weight, Mr. Chandler, is 185 pounds,” McGregor said in a video published by X.

Let us remember that Conor did not appear in the Octagon after two early defeats to Dustin Poirier in 2021. In the last of them, the Irishman suffered a severe leg fracture.
