Sterling unhappy with low PPV sales figures for his fight with O'Malley

Aljamain Sterling, the former UFC bantamweight champion, is shocked by how much their fight with Sean O'Malley turned out to be unpopular.

“I received data on paid broadcasts. The first thing that came to my mind was: “And these are the numbers from a guy who considers himself a star?” When I saw the numbers, I thought that I shouldn’t have agreed to return in such a short time. I should have kept my ass off the couch and rested quietly. I took a risk. I believed that I would earn crazy money from my share of broadcasts. This did not happen. I’m glad I made good money, it was a great year.”

Let us remind you that O'Malley won ahead of schedule against Sterling, taking away the bantamweight champion belt.
