Rakhmonov reacted to Makhachev’s possible transition to welterweight

Shavkat Rakhmonov, a top UFC welterweight, spoke about a possible move to his division of the promotion's lightweight champion Islam Makhacheva.

“I can’t say, but I know that Islam’s weight is the same as mine, but he competes in the category up to 70 kilograms. He can win a lot of fights at his weight and come in at 77 kilograms. It depends on the UFC. I don’t decide anything anyway. “I’m looking forward to my championship fight,” the fighter said.
