Cejudo asks White to organize a fight between Makhachev and Edwards

Henry Cejudo, a former two-division UFC champion, approached promotion CEO Dana White with a request to organize a fight between the lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and welterweight champion Leon Edwards.

“Leon Edwards vs Islam Makhachev is a fight that should take place in 2024. Dana, make this possible,” said the fighter.

Let us remind you that Cejudo earlier said that he was betting on Makhachev in the fight with Edwards.
