Pimblett reacts sharply to dos Anjos challenge

British UFC lightweight prospect Paddy Pimblett responded to a challenge from a former division champion Rafael Dos Anjos.

“Another legend, ex-champion, like Tony. Rafael is very good. Why does he mention me at all? Stupid idiot. Focus on who you have to fight.

I would not disrespect Dos Anjos. He is a former champion and one of the future legends of the sport. But he's another fighter who's gotten a little older. And if he wants me to knock him out, I’ll do it,” MMA Mania quotes Pimblett.

Let us remember that last weekend at the UFC 296 tournament, Pimblett won a unanimous decision against Tony Ferguson.
