Edwards announced the name of his next opponent

UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwardc believes that his next opponent should be the second-ranked player in the division Belal Muhammad.

On December 16 at UFC 296 in Las Vegas, Edwards made the second defense of his title, winning on points against Colby Covington.

“Could Belal be next? Of course. He is on a 10-fight undefeated streak, which gives him a special status. Colby got his chance out of turn, so let's determine who's next. But as I said, now is my time and I will continue to win. It doesn’t matter who stands opposite me, a wrestler or a boxer,” Edwards said at a press conference.
