Rakhmonov did not rule out a fight with Makhachev at welterweight

Top UFC welterweight Shavkat Rakhmonov spoke about a possible fight against the promotion's lightweight champion Islam Makhacheva.

“Islam can compete at welterweight if the UFC is interested in it. But the most important thing is that he then defends his belt in this division. Can we fight Makhachev if he moves up to welterweight? We'll see, I don't want to rush. Maybe we'll meet, maybe not. Time will tell,” the fighter said.
