Harry pulled out of UFC 296 due to pneumonia

Irish UFC welterweight prospect Ian Harry will not be able to take part in the upcoming UFC 296 show, in which he was supposed to fight with Vicente Luque, due to illness.

"This is true. Harry got the flu and then it developed into pneumonia. So this fight is cancelled,” UFC chief Dana White said in a video posted on Instagram.

It's worth adding that White did not specify whether the promotion would be looking for a new opponent for Luque.

UFC 296 will take place on the night of December 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main event of the event will be the welterweight title fight between Leon Edwards and Colby Covington.
