Former world champion in junior welterweight, Mexican Jaime Munguia stated that after defeating Briton John Ryder, he expects to fight for the title in the second middle division, in which his star compatriot “reigns” Saul Alvarez.
“I’m looking forward to the fight with John Ryder and after that, big events await me that will lead me to another weight championship. No disrespect to John, but I'm confident I can beat him. If everything goes according to plan, then I will look for the best option,” Boxing Scene quotes Munguia.
Let us remind you that the Munguia-Ryder fight will take place on January 27 in Phoenix.
