The European Games 2023 have started in Krakow, Poland, within which, starting from Friday, an amateur boxing tournament will be held, where men and women will compete for Olympic licenses. Women will compete in six categories, men in seven. During the competition, which will be held in Nowy Targ, 22 boxers and 22 female boxers will receive a ticket to the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
The famous Ukrainian athlete Tatyana Kob tried to break the stereotype that a female boxer and femininity are incompatible concepts. The 2009 European champion in her native Kovel took part in a photo shoot, during which, as Tatyana's followers write, she "overshadowed the bright sun with her beauty." The girl posed only in a bikini, "blinding" the audience with her youth.
On November 5, an open training session of the National Women's Boxing Team of Ukraine took place at the Olympic training base in Koncha-Zaspa near Kiev. An open press event was held as part of the preparation of the team for the World Cup in India. The women's championship will take place from November 15 to November 24 in New Delhi.
