Former World Champion Michaela Mayer (17-1, 5 KOs) made a successful lightweight debut against late replacement Lucy Wildhart (10-1, 4 KOs), winning by unanimous decision on the undercard on Saturday night Joyce-Zhilei in London. Judges' scores are 98-92, 100-90 and 98-91. Thus, Mayer won the interim WBC title at 61 kg and became the mandatory contender for Katie Taylor.
