Jonas-Meyer January 20 for IBF title

On January 20, at a boxing evening from the Boxxer promotional organization in Liverpool, a fight between the IBF world welterweight champion will take place Natasha Jonas (14-2-1, 9 KOs) and former world champion in the second featherweight division Michaela Mayer (19-1, 5 KOs).

For the Briton, this will be the first defense of the title she won in July. The 39-year-old won the vacant belt with a stoppage win over Kandi Wyatt.

Mayer fought her last three fights in the UK. The American last boxed in September.
