Joe Cordina is a Welsh professional boxer and former world champion in the super featherweight division. He was born on December 1, 1991, in Cardiff, Wales, and is of Welsh and Maltese descent. Cordina began boxing at a young age and enjoyed a decorated amateur career, representing Great Britain at international tournaments.
As an amateur, Cordina won a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and a gold medal at the 2015 European Championships. He also competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, further establishing his reputation as one of the UK's top amateur talents.
