Aqib Fiaz (born September 1999) is a British professional boxer competing in the super‑featherweight division. Raised in Oldham, Lancashire to a Pakistani family, he began boxing at age eight to address childhood weight issues and quickly developed a strong foundation through local gyms. As an amateur, he won nine county titles, a national youth championship, and represented England at the senior level.
Fiaz turned professional in March 2019 and signed with Matchroom Boxing in April 2020. Trained by Jamie Moore at VIP Gym in Astley alongside notable fighters, he built an undefeated record on the regional circuit, earning attention with early career wins at venues like Manchester Arena. He has shown resilience and adaptability, notably recovering from a knockdown to secure a close victory and later campaigning for the Commonwealth super‑featherweight title.
Outside the ring, Fiaz has demonstrated social commitment by raising significant funds for disadvantaged children in memory of his late mother. Known for his orthodox stance and intelligent style, he blends disciplined boxing technique with forward-driving pressure. As of early 2025, Fiaz remains an unbeaten prospect under Matchroom’s banner, preparing for future title opportunities.
