UFC CEO Dana White revealed key details about the preparation for one of the most unusual events in mixed martial arts history – a tournament on the grounds of the White House, scheduled for June 14.
“We’re going to give away 85,000 tickets, and they will be free. We will soon explain exactly how this is going to happen,” noted the promotion's head in a recent video message posted on the organization's official account.
The adjacent area will serve as a venue for mass viewing, and the tournament itself is timed to coincide with significant dates, promising to be unprecedented in scale and symbolism. The mechanism for distributing passes is kept secret for now, but White promised to quickly disclose all details.
Remember, the upcoming show will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje.
