O'Malley: "If I lost to Yadong, it could have been my last fight"

Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley admits he might have hung up his gloves if he had lost to Song Yadong at UFC 324.

"You never know for sure... But if I had lost, I would have thought: 'Weight cutting sucks, to hell with it!' I don't know if I would have done that, but it's possible. I will retire when I feel that the time has come. If I had lost, it could have been my last fight. I have a good life.

Before the fight, I had a scary thought: 'How badly do I want this? If I have to ask myself this question during the fight, can I push myself as hard as I did in the fight with Petr Yan?' And I got my answer," O'Malley said in an interview with UFC.

Let us remind you that O'Malley defeated Yadong by unanimous decision.
