Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya gave a detailed prediction for the main event of UFC 324 — the interim lightweight title fight between Briton Paddy Pimblett and American veteran Justin Gaethje.
“Paddy came to the UFC with a lot of hype from Cage Warriors,” Adesanya began in an interview with Sportskeeda. “Everyone was always skeptical: saying the opposition was weak, you’re celebrating too early. And then he knocked out Bobby Green, and then just dismantled Michael Chandler. Okay, we believed. But you know what? We still haven’t seen Pimblett truly tested.”
“Justin is a whole other level. He doesn’t chase cameras, doesn’t need extra noise. He just goes out there and never gets tired. Never. This will be the toughest test in Pimblett’s career. An ideal matchup: the old battle dog against the new, hungry, and bright one.”
