American mixed martial arts veteran Jorge Masvidal is confident that the main challenge for the UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev right now is the former hegemon of this division, Kamaru Usman.
“Usman is the most dangerous fight for Makhachev in the welterweight division. It's a big step up in the level of competition. Jack Della Maddalena is generally good, but he is not on Usman's level in terms of defensive and offensive skills,” Jorge said in an interview with Death Row MMA.
Let us recall that Makhachev won the title in October by defeating Jack Della Maddalena by unanimous decision.
