Former UFC champion in two weight categories, Henry Cejudo, after losing to Payton Talbott at UFC 323 in Las Vegas, USA, confirmed that he is leaving the sport.
“It was a good ending to my career. Payton is the future. Even after the fight, I told him: ‘Come to us, let's work together, I would like to continue to teach you.’
I would like to express great gratitude to Dana White. Thank you so much for this opportunity! Thanks also to Hunter, Shawn, Mick Maynard, and everyone else from the UFC. You bought the UFC for two million, started in a huge deficit, but now this company is worth several billion. You've changed many lives, and I'm sure, thanks to you, this sport will become the best in the world,” Cejudo said.
Let us recall that Cejudo lost to Talbott by unanimous decision.
