Former UFC champion in the bantamweight division Sean O’Malley stated that he plans to compete in mixed martial arts for another 7-8 years.

“I want to fight until I’m 37-38 years old. I will fight as long as my body can handle the load. To make that happen, I must take recovery as seriously as training. I am doing just that, and I think it will pay off. I am 30 now. I believe I have many good years ahead of me,” the American said in an interview with ESPN.

Recall that on the night of June 8, in the main event of UFC 316 in Newark, USA, O’Malley will have a rematch with the reigning champion in the 135-pound division Merab Dvalishvili.
