Top British UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett assessed the chances of his compatriot Tom Aspinall, who holds the interim title in the heavyweight division of the promotion, against the full champion in this category, American Jon Jones.
“I love Aspinall. He’s my friend, but I can never go against Jon Jones. We haven’t seen anyone beat him. But if anyone can beat this guy, it’s Aspinall. Tom could just knock him out.
But I’ve been watching Jon’s career since he became the UFC champion. How cool he makes the game plan against his opponent. Jon really finds a way to beat someone and works on it,” Pimblett is quoted by MMA Mania.
