Almeida is ready to fight Ankalaev in the light heavyweight division

UFC heavyweight Jailton Almeida announced his readiness to drop to the light heavyweight division for a fight with champion Magomed Ankalaev.

“Hey, champion! I accept your challenge. I am ready to drop to light heavyweight and fight you for the title. Alex has regularly fought on short notice, but he has become too big for this. Now he does not need it, and I agree. How about you? I promise not to take you down, we’ll settle everything standing up,” Almeida wrote on X.

Let’s remind that Almeida last fought in January, knocking out Sergey Spivak.
