Pereira refused to rematch Ankalaev at UFC 317

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira declined the offer to rematch the current title holder Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 317, scheduled for June 29 in Las Vegas. At least, that’s what the latter claims.

“I was offered to fight Alex during the International Fight Week, if that person doesn’t want to, let’s move on, I’m ready for anything,” Ankalaev wrote on X.

Recall that Ankalaev took the belt from Pereira in March, winning by unanimous decision.
