Makachev: "It’s time to become a double champion"

UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev reacted to Jack Della Maddalena winning the title in the welterweight division of the promotion.

Today, May 11, Della Maddalena defeated Belal Muhammad by unanimous decision in the main event of UFC 315 in Montreal, Canada.

"It’s time to become a double champion! InshaAllah! Let’s go!" Makhachev wrote on X.

Let us remind you that earlier Makhachev stated that he would make a decision on his next step in the UFC after the fight between Muhammad and Della Maddalena.
