Johnson offered advice to Aspinall

Mixed martial arts titleholder Demetrious Johnson expressed his opinion that UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall should not wait to fight full belt holder Jon Jones.

"If I were Aspinall, I'd be thinking, 'Geez, I'm not waiting six months.' It feels like the UFC should give him one more fight. On the other hand, it would be the biggest fight of his career if he beats Jon Jones...

I would say no considering Jon Jones wants six months. I'd fight someone else. I'd defend the interim heavyweight title. Everybody fights on Jon Jones' schedule. He dictates what's going on right now. Aspinall shouldn't wait for Jones," Johnson stated on his YouTube channel.
