UFC head Dana White has revealed when Elijah Topuria's first lightweight fight is scheduled to be scheduled.
In late February, the Georgian, who competes for Spain, vacated his belt in the welterweight division and moved up to the under-70kg category.
"We are still working on a plan for Ilia. We have to make an announcement about his future. Give us a couple weeks and we will release specific information on Topuria. Right now I can say: yes, he vacated the title, moved up to lightweight. You'll know the rest in a couple weeks," White told TNT Sports.
