Former world champion Sergio Mora believes Ryan Garcia will defeat Rolando Romero early in their upcoming fight.
"Garcia not only needs to clean up his reputation, but he needs to convince people that he's still a hard hitting, fast fighter who can do it on the big stage. In Romero, Garcia will face a fighter who will give him plenty of opportunities. He comes out knocking out opponents. There are holes in his defense.
I think this will be a short and explosive fight. Each of them can be shaken up. Garcia is vulnerable on defense. I'd say Garcia will knock out Romero by the fifth round. This fight won't make it to the second half. Too much punching power and gaps in defense for both of these guys. Yes, I believe the fight will be over in 5-6 rounds, but it will be exciting," Mora said.
As a reminder, the Garcia vs. Romero bout will take place on May 2 in New York, USA.
