American PFL lightweight Paul Hughes exudes unwavering confidence in his victory in his upcoming fight with Usman Nurmagomedov.
These fighters will meet on January 25 at the PFL Champions Series 1 tournament in Dubai, UAE. At stake will be the Bellator championship title belonging to the latter.
"I imagine knocking out Usman. But, of course, I'm ready for any outcome. And I may well defeat him by decision at the end of five rounds. This option would also be convenient for me, because in modern MMA, judges mostly look at damage, and I'm damn good at that. It would only take me a few seconds in each round to do some serious damage to Nurmagomedov. To be honest to the end, I can see myself beating Usman pretty badly," Sports Illustrated quoted Hughes as saying.
