Not McGregor: Chandler names a desirable opponent

Former UFC lightweight title challenger American Michael Chandler has made it clear that he is burning to share the octagon with popular Brit Paddy Pimblett.

"I've got to beat Paddy. He's a young and hungry guy. He's got his whole career ahead of him, whereas I've been doing this 10 years longer than him. I like this matchup. Whether I'm the underdog or the favorite, I'm going to do my best to do well on fight night.

I like the idea of a fight with Pimblett where I'm going to make a lot of money. I don't want to say it will be an easy fight, as I could just come out and get knocked out in front of everyone. But let's just say I like this fight stylistically. I like Paddy as a person. He's a good guy. However, my attitude towards him won't stop me from knocking him out," Chandler is quoted as saying by DAZN.
