The Dagestani made his third title defense by "choking out" the Brazilian in the first round of the main event of UFC 311 in Los Angeles, USA.
"I always go for the finish. Throughout this week and throughout camp, I've been saying I can do it. I just go in the cage and do my thing. Who should be the next contender? Looking for contenders is not my job. If someone wants to take this belt, he can go in the cage," Makhachev said after the fight.
