Makhachev: "Dvalishvili disgraces his belt"

UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev spoke about the conflict between the belt holder in the promotion's lightweight division Merab Dvalishvili and Umar Nurmagomedov.

The Georgian and the Dagestani will fight on January 18 at UFC 311 in Los Angeles, USA.

"Umar said Merab approached him and asked: "Why are you disrespecting me?" But Umar was not disrespecting Merab. On the contrary, it is Merab who shows disrespect to Umar. Merab knows that Umar is the real contender for the belt. Umar deserves to fight for the title, and Merab is challenging Peter Yan and Deiveson Figueredo.
