Tsarukyan: "I hope the fight with Makhachev will be announced soon"

UFC Armenian lightweight Arman Tsarukyan expects his fight with division champion Islam Makhachev of Dagestan to be announced this week.

"My manager said I will be fighting for the title early next year. I'm excited and hopefully my fight will be announced soon. They've already told me the date and the venue - it's known to us and the UFC. I think within a week they will announce it officially," Tsarukyan told TNT Sports.
