Former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards says he intends to reclaim the belt by the end of 2025.
"My goal right now is to get the belt back. I'd like to be champion by the end of next year - around this time next year - so I'm just taking steps towards that.
I haven't lost in about nine years. I'm getting used to that feeling again, but I feel like I hate losing more than I love winning. There's not much you can do now except just let go and put it behind you. It's more important to me what comes next and how to get back to where I want to go. My goal is to become a two-time world champion," Edwards said in an interview with MyProtein.
Recall that Edwards lost his championship title after losing to Belal Muhammad on points in July.
