UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis said he's not going to throw a tiff ahead of a possible bout with undefeated Hamzat Chimaev.
"Thresh-talk before the fight with Hamzat? I never try to humiliate my opponent, but for some reason people cry after talking to me. I always respect my opponent as long as he respects me. If you try to hurt me, I will hurt you 10 times more. Everybody has a choice - to find out in the octagon or to show off their microphone skills. To each his own," Du Plessis said in an interview with Submission Radio.
Du Plessis made his first title defense in August, defeating Israel Adesanya by choke.
